About the Connections Museum Seattle

The museum is open to the public every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.

The Connections Museum Seattle, formerly the Herbert H. Warrick Jr. Museum of Communications is a part of The Telecommunications History Group, Inc. and is located in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle, Washington.

The museum features working Panel and Crossbar electromechanical central-office switches. The Connections Museum also has working Step-by-Step and Crossbar PBX equipment as well as antique telephones, switchboards, outside plant displays, including poles, cables, splicing equipment, tools, and other related communications equipment and machines. The Connections Museum also features a cataloged telecommunications reference library, useful for researchers.

The museum is normally open every Sunday from 10:00am to 3:00pm, but please check our visitor information page before you come to find out about any changes. Also please note that our doors normally close at 2:30pm to permit visitors enough time to conclude their tour. Plan to arrive early enough to allow at least one hour to visit both our floors. Typical tours take up to two hours or more for those with keen technical interest.

Donate to the Museum

The suggested donation is $5 for adults and $2 youths aged 12 to 18. We ask that parents with children under twelve visit the museum first, before bringing their children, to determine the suitability of museum exhibits for younger visitors.
